Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to support and enhance its cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data loss prevention strategies to mitigate data exfiltration risks
• Operate and enhance the SIEM platform, tuning alerts and contributing to incident response workflows
• Collaborate with teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities through scanning and patch management

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in a security engineering role, preferably in cloud-native or SaaS environments
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, DLP, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection tools
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001
• Relevant certifications include Security+, GSEC, AWS Security Specialist, or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders
