Staff Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Machine Learning Scientist, Oncology Foundation Model.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define the architecture of large multimodal models (LMMs) and optimize model architectures using deep learning frameworks
• Develop and manage end-to-end training pipelines, including data loading, preprocessing, and deploying distributed training workflows
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure architecture accommodates knowledge integration methods and monitor training processes for performance bottlenecks

Required Qualifications

• Deep understanding of deep learning principles and architectures, particularly transformers
• Extensive experience with multimodal machine learning concepts and optimization techniques for large-scale models
• Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience with distributed training frameworks and cloud computing platforms
• Strong understanding of knowledge representation concepts, including knowledge graphs and ontologies
