State Licensed Associate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Counsel to join their global legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support for global commercial transactions and advise on corporate governance
• Partner with various departments to support legal needs and contribute to compliance efforts
• Support M&A activities and oversee outside counsel for litigation and regulatory matters

Qualifications

• JD or LLM from an accredited law school and active license to practice in at least one U.S. state
• 4 to 6 years of experience in a law firm and in-house legal department, preferably in technology or media
• Strong foundation in commercial transactions and corporate law
• Experience advising cross-functional teams and executive leadership
• Familiarity with private equity-backed operating environments is a plus
