State Licensed Compliance Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Counsel, Compliance Investigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the compliance investigations process, including conducting sensitive investigations into alleged misconduct
• Draft investigation plans, conduct interviews, and prepare analysis and investigation reports
• Develop and enhance investigation-related procedures and provide updates on trends to internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school
• Minimum of 5 years of experience at a top law firm or in-house legal and compliance department
• Experience conducting complex and sensitive investigations for 5-8 years
• Must be admitted to the bar of at least one state
• Strong understanding of compliance programs for publicly-traded, global companies
