Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Editor.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation and review of various legal content types such as state law surveys, practice notes, and articles
• Conduct in-depth reviews of statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal materials to ensure content accuracy and currency
• Edit existing documents and draft new content as required

Required Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing of at least one State Bar
• 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house focusing on insurance coverages and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with Lexis+ and state insurance department resources
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
