A company is looking for a Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory adherence and compliance operations in healthcare benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze changes in healthcare laws and regulations, ensuring compliance across operations and products
- Support the development and maintenance of regulatory materials, including Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs)
- Facilitate state regulatory filings and assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and complaints
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies)
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, specifically with group health plans
- Knowledge of ERISA, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and regulatory frameworks for self-funded health plans
- Experience with plan documents, SPDs, and benefit administration processes
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct
