State Licensed Lead Abstractor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Abstractor, HEDIS/Quality Improvement (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare for HEDIS medical record reviews and oversee the abstraction process
• Lead meetings with vendors and assist in training abstractors using standardized materials
• Monitor accuracy of abstracted records and support quality improvement initiatives and accreditation activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in healthcare Quality/HEDIS with a focus on medical record review and abstraction
• Intermediate knowledge of HEDIS and NCQA
• Active RN license for the State(s) of employment (preferred)
• 3+ years of medical record abstraction and managed care experience (preferred)
