State Licensed Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal & Compliance Counsel to lead and manage enterprise-wide compliance efforts while providing legal support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of the company's enterprise-wide compliance program
• Provide legal support for contract drafting, review, and negotiation, particularly for commercial agreements
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure legal and compliance considerations are integrated into operations

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5+ years of legal and compliance experience, including at least 3 years in a hybrid role
• Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks applicable to digital assets or financial services
• Experience managing KYB/AML processes and compliance audits
• Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills across a variety of contract types
