Thai-English Legal Translator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Thai to/from English - Legal Translator, Editor, and/or Transcriber.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate translation, editing, and transcription of legal documents and audio files
• Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions while demonstrating strong command of legal terminology
• Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizen willing to undergo a U.S. government background check for Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in translation and/or editing between English and a foreign language
• At least 3 years of experience in audio transcription with relevant software proficiency
• Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and the target foreign language
