Corporate Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel to lead the legal function and serve as a trusted advisor across all business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary legal advisor to internal teams including Sales, Marketing, People Operations, Engineering, and Customer Success
• Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial contracts and manage the customer contracting cycle
• Support HR with employment law matters and advise on compliance with privacy laws

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. degree and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 7+ years of legal experience, including in-house counsel and/or law firm experience
• Demonstrated experience in high-growth companies or startup environments
• Expertise in commercial contract drafting and negotiation
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment law and data privacy regulations
