Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote PBM Prior Authorization Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical reviews of medical data for prior authorization of specialty medications
• Collaborate with technicians and nurses to process authorization requests and answer clinical questions
• Handle inbound calls from physicians or patients regarding prior authorization status

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of 2-5 years of clinical experience with specialty medications or prior authorization requests preferred
• Active pharmacist license in state of residence in good standing
• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D. required
• Experience using MS Office and other Windows-based applications
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
