Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Technicians and Nurses to process authorization requests and conduct clinical assessments
• Coordinates communication of case decisions to healthcare professionals and manages approval and denial processes
• Handles inbound calls and escalations from physicians or patients regarding Prior Authorization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D
• At least two years of experience as a pharmacist
• Active pharmacist license in state of residence in good standing
• Experience with Prior Authorization or Hospital settings
• Minimum of 2-5 years of clinical experience with specialty medications preferred
