A company is looking for an Underwriting and Financial Analyst, Employee Benefits - Middle & Large Groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages RFP preparation, carrier quote review, client proposal development, and carrier negotiations
- Communicates carrier strengths and weaknesses to clients during the renewal process
- Develops renewal projections and marketing studies, and maintains positive carrier relationships
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Must hold a state life and health insurance license
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience considered
- Knowledge of underwriting and analytics value proposition
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with advanced data analysis skills
- Experience in preparing financial dashboards and RFPs
