SUD Peer Support Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SUD Peer Support Specialist to provide support for individuals with substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist families and consumers in defining recovery goals and developing necessary skills for recovery
• Communicate with consumers and families about the substance abuse delivery system and their rights
• Collaborate with care managers and community agencies to facilitate transitions between services

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• 3+ years of community outreach experience with knowledge of local culture and resources
• Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• Current or past lived experience with substance use disorders
• Must reside in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, or Utah
