A company is looking for a Healthcare Customer Service Rep II.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage policy-related inquiries, including billing, member information updates, terminations, and ID card orders
- Provide information on benefits, assist with prior authorizations, and conduct provider contact research
- Handle claims inquiries, status updates, and assist with reconsideration requests for denied claims
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least two years of experience in claims examination, health insurance, customer service, or related fields
- Solid understanding of healthcare terminology, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
- Strong computer experience, including data entry and navigation
- Ability to clear a criminal background check
