Job Summary
A company is looking for a Safety and Loss Control Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts loss analysis and on-site safety surveys to assess safety efforts and identify hazards
- Prepares and submits reports with recommendations to improve safety programs and mitigate risks
- Participates in training sessions and provides mentorship to Safety and Loss Control Trainees
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or a related field is required
- Preference for candidates with a master's degree in Safety or Industrial Hygiene
- Two years of experience in occupational safety management or consulting is preferred
- Certifications such as CSP, CIH, ARM, or ASP are preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, risk management, and safety program management is essential
