Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Access Coordinator to work in a remote, entry-level position.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer a high volume of calls daily and schedule appointments for multiple clinical sites
- Gather and input patient demographic and insurance information into the practice management system
- Document call activity and assist callers in navigating to appropriate resources
Required Qualifications
- Customer/patient service skills
- Experience handling a high volume of inbound calls
- Strong Internet speed and access to a router via Ethernet cord (minimum speed: 20mbps Download & 6mbps Upload)
- Healthcare exposure is preferred
- Experience using EMR and scheduling software is a plus
