Underwriting Associate Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Underwriting Associates to oversee the Underwriting Associate Team and enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the underwriting functions and ensure adherence to service levels
• Drive strategy and process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Mentor and develop team members for operational excellence and future needs

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• At least 6 years in an underwriting associate or support role; experience with Workers' Compensation and Commercial Auto preferred
• Minimum of 2 years in a team lead role or equivalent required
• Advanced knowledge of underwriting processes and departmental goals
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex situations effectively
