Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Manager to oversee the underwriting team and manage operations to meet company metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and management of the Underwriting team to exceed productivity and accuracy targets
• Evaluate applicant information against underwriting criteria and make informed investment recommendations
• Coach and develop Underwriters to enhance performance and ensure adherence to guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Underwriting within the residential finance industry
• 2+ years of experience managing a production-based team
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in business, finance, or a related field
• Experience in motivating, managing, and developing a team
• Ability to work cross-functionally and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
