Vice President Cyber Defense

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Cyber Defense to lead global cyber defense and incident response capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the cyber defense strategy, ensuring alignment with risk and compliance objectives
• Lead the global Security Operations Center (SOC) and manage 24/7 monitoring and incident response
• Build and manage a high-performing cyber defense team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Deep knowledge of security operations, threat detection techniques, and relevant frameworks (NIST/ISO)
• Experience with cloud security and hybrid infrastructure defense
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent are highly desirable
