A company is looking for a Claims Adjuster, Workers Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of workers' compensation claims from set-up to closure
- Provide excellent customer service and serve as a point of contact for agents and customers
- Mitigate claim exposure and negotiate settlements while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of workers' compensation claims experience is required
- Experience in multiple states preferred, including TX, IA, IL, KS, MI, NJ, OK, PA, WI, and CA
- Knowledge of jurisdictional regulatory and statutory requirements and CMS/MSA requirements
- Experience in claim adjudication, medical management, and litigation management
