Remote Math Coach

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-time Math Coach to provide academic support and mentorship to students in a scholarship program.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 1-1 math coaching sessions with students, providing homework support and fostering discussions on math topics
• Update the outreach team and parents on student progress after each session, summarizing learnings and recommendations
• Maintain up-to-date availability in the booking system and participate in professional development sessions

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Strong math content knowledge, ideally through advanced high school level
• Experience teaching or tutoring K-12 students is strongly preferred
• Engaging and enthusiastic demeanor when working with students
• Familiarity with the curriculum and experience with math contests is a plus
