[Remote] Senior Application Developer (SQL/.Net) – 100% REMOTE

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vailexa Technology is seeking an experienced Application Developer for a remote project with potential for extension. The role involves providing support and maintenance for a mission-critical enterprise application while balancing day-to-day support with modernization efforts.

Responsibilities
• Provide ongoing support and development for a WebFocus-based system running in a local environment.
• Manage and optimize the supporting SQL database.
• Maintain legacy functionality while assisting with migration initiatives to newer platforms.
• Support system integrations and troubleshoot issues across multiple technologies.
• Collaborate with a small technical team to ensure application stability for end users.

Skills
• WebFocus development experience (legacy versions a plus)
• SQL database management and optimization
• Legacy application maintenance and troubleshooting
• .NET development (small portion of the system footprint)
• JavaScript for user interface support
• Knowledge of system integrations across legacy and modern platforms
• Experience with mainframe-to-local or system migration projects
• Java development exposure
