Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientist I/II to develop CHO cell lines for GMP applications in South San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CHO cell line development, including transfection, selection, and stability assessment
• Design DNA vector constructs for proteins, including monoclonal antibodies
• Operate laboratory instruments and perform genetic characterization of cell banks using molecular techniques

Required Qualifications

• Scientist I: BS with 5 years or MS with 3 years of relevant experience; Scientist II: BS with 7 years or MS with 5 years
• Proficient in aseptic techniques and mammalian cell culture
• Experienced in developing stably transfected CHO cell lines for monoclonal antibody production
• Strong understanding of mammalian cell biology and molecular biology concepts
• Demonstrated ability to independently design and execute critical experiments
