Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to design and implement security solutions for cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, test, implement, and configure security tools and services for cloud workloads and networks
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Security Engineering topics and collaborate with IT and Product teams
• Automate security processes and integrate security tools to enhance monitoring and response capabilities

Required Qualifications

• MS/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and securing solutions in hybrid cloud environments
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Experience with security tools like Azure Arc, Microsoft Defender, and Prisma Cloud
• Knowledge of security best practices and frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and OWASP
