Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting schedules for assigned properties, ensuring proper approvals
• Manage month-end close processes, including account reconciliations for assigned business units
• Field inquiries from department heads and assist with variance analyses and ad hoc reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or a related field
• 3 years of related General Ledger and/or business experience required
• Knowledge of automated accounting systems (JDEdwards and/or Oracle preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to create Excel spreadsheets using formulas
• Ability to maintain calm under pressure and provide customer service to key contacts
