Virginia Licensed Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process for timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including managerial experience
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
