Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant-2 to manage complex financial tasks and provide accounting support remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconciles complex accounts and ensures the accuracy of journal entries and general ledger
• Prepares complex financial reports and statements for senior management to aid in financial decision-making
• Provides technical accounting advice and coaching to less experienced staff while ensuring compliance with accounting policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA is preferred
• 5 plus years of prior experience in accounting
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations and GAAP
• Experience with computerized financial information systems and financial software tools
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports, statements, and projections
