Senior Actuarial Data Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Actuarial Data Analyst to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and implements rating engine strategies and solution specifications for policy administration systems
• Partners with business units to gather data analytics needs and performs research and analysis of data elements
• Manages project execution, timelines, and provides direction to actuarial team members while ensuring compliance with data governance policies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, actuarial science, data science, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Seven years of experience in data management, data analysis, or insurance analytics
• Preferred insurance experience
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, Visual Basic, JAVA, or PostGreSQL
• Strong knowledge of analytical and data terminology, concepts, and theory
