Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with secure coding practices and coordinate remediation of security defects
• Onboard applications into the web application firewall and provide training on secure coding practices
• Conduct ongoing application security reviews and assist in responses to audits and vulnerability assessments

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Hands-on experience with application security tools and vulnerability management
• Active involvement with OWASP, NIST, and SANS practices
• Experience securing APIs and validating penetration test findings
