Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer, Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and scale the Data Platform team's services and APIs
• Build batch and streaming data pipelines
• Act as tech lead for individual projects, including writing design docs and delegating tasks

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience writing and shipping production software in GoLang
• Hands-on Python experience in production or non-production settings
• Experience building and designing high-scale systems on AWS with various database technologies
• Working knowledge of event-driven distributed systems and distributed data processing technologies
• Proven track record of success in remote startups, especially in mid to late-stage companies
