Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to work on their cloud platform handling biometric data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software for the cloud platform, focusing on APIs and distributed microservices
• Build production-grade AI applications that convert neurological data into actionable insights
• Share responsibility for production, uphold infrastructure practices, and participate in daily deployments

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a backend software engineer, specifically with cloud-native applications
• Professional experience with Python or Go
• Experience using unit and integration testing frameworks for high test coverage
• Direct experience with at least one of the following: APIs, ETL pipelines, databases, asynchronous execution, or handling sensitive data
• Familiarity with building and/or deploying machine learning models is a plus
