Senior Backup Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Backup Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced backup duties and support storage system users
• Monitor system performance, verify integrity and availability of hardware and backups
• Install, upgrade, and configure backup appliances and data protection software

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with Dell EMC Ecosystem, including Avamar and Data Domain
• Incident response and crisis management experience
• Ability to work in high-pressure recovery scenarios
• Experience with scripting/automation tools like PowerShell or Python is a plus
