Senior Cyber Defense Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cyber Defense Engineer to join their Global Cyber Defense team.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain perimeter Cyber Defense platforms, including Web, Email, and Network Security
• Utilize SIEM event data for risk reduction and troubleshooting efforts
• Communicate cyber security risks and remediation strategies effectively

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Network Security, or related IT field
• Expertise in infrastructure technologies such as Next-Generation Firewalls and Web Application Firewalls
• Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems, networking, identity, and access
• Understanding of IPv4, TCP/IP, and low-level networking protocols
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SIEM tools like Splunk
