Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist, Fraud.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom models and algorithms to detect new threat vectors in blockchain-related fraud
• Collaborate with engineers and research scientists to analyze complex data structures in cryptocurrencies
• Create interactive visualizations to help law enforcement agencies understand blockchain data

Required Qualifications

• Academic background in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or Physics; advanced degree preferred
• 4+ years of experience in an analytical role
• Proven experience with at least one programming language (Python preferred) and familiarity with version control systems
• Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL)
• Ability to analyze data in terms of statistical distributions and identify patterns
