Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory data analysis on large sets of time series, geospatial, electrical network, and socioeconomic data
• Drive the full lifecycle of predictive model development, including data preparation, feature engineering, algorithm selection, and model evaluation
• Develop software methodologies for distributed energy resources and prepare bespoke data visualizations to communicate insights

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• At least two years of experience in a relevant position
• Advanced knowledge of data visualization software and techniques
• Experience in the utility, renewable energy, cleantech, regulatory, or automotive industries
• Ability to write research reports and documentation explaining model functionality
