Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer for a 100% remote contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage
• Work with Azure Blob Storage, Parquet files, Snowflake, and Iceberg tables to deliver scalable solutions
• Develop APIs with FastAPI and integrate with downstream systems

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for data engineering
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure Blob Storage, and Parquet
• Knowledge of Iceberg tables and lakehouse frameworks
• Experience with FastAPI development
• Familiarity with Docker and Azure pipelines
