Senior Firewall Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Firewall Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure for security, performance, and reliability
• Administer Palo Alto firewalls, including upgrades, patches, and configurations
• Convert Layer 4 rules to Layer 7 using User-ID and App-ID

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of overall network engineering/administration experience
• 5+ years managing Palo Alto firewalls
• Proven experience converting Layer 4 rules to Layer 7 with User-ID and App-ID
• Experience creating custom App-IDs
• Hands-on management of Palo Alto upgrades, patches, and configurations
