Senior GL Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Ledger Accountant in the Cebu Area (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Accounting Worksheet for each Client Statement of Work (SOW)
• Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation and review payroll journal entries
• Perform month-end accruals, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support external audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
• Progress toward CPA designation or other relevant certification preferred
• Experience in a GL Accountant role with demonstrated senior-level capabilities
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles
• Proficiency in financial record-keeping, reconciliations, and reporting
