Senior Investment Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Investment Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the organization's investment portfolio and record all activity in the general ledger
• Analyze monthly investment portfolio spreadsheets for accuracy and prepare journal entries
• Compile and analyze schedules for organization and affiliate investments in support of the annual financial statement audit

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in investment/finance accounting, preferably in non-profits
• Advanced knowledge of accounting procedures, GAAP, and financial reporting
• Advanced knowledge of investments including stocks, bonds, and private equity
• Proficiency with modern accounting software preferred
