Senior Information Systems Security Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Information Systems Security Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operational units to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks for information systems
• Facilitate compliance with the NIST framework, including risk assessment and continuous monitoring
• Maintain policies and procedures supporting the security and privacy of the information technology environment

Required Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree and 7+ years, or a PhD and 4+ years of experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance and SCI access
• Extensive expertise in information systems and related disciplines
• Experience evaluating new hardware, software, and systems tools
• Applicable information security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CRISC, etc.) are preferred
