Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their Infrastructure Engineering team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply software engineering and SRE principles to build, maintain, monitor, and operate complex infrastructure
• Work closely with software engineers to integrate infrastructure with software solutions
• Drive issues to completion while managing resources in high-pressure situations

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in building software for or operating large Linux-based web application environments
• Experience with UNIX systems administration and scripting in languages such as Golang, Ruby, PHP, or Bash
• Familiarity with Docker and orchestration systems like Nomad, Kubernetes, or Amazon ECS
• Knowledge of configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• Experience with observability and application performance monitoring tools like ELK, Prometheus, or New Relic
