Senior Licensing Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensing Engineer with NRC experience for a remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engineering regulatory analysis and develop regulatory submittals for water-cooled reactors
• Lead regulatory engagements and manage requirements for specific topics
• Prepare technical teams for regulatory audits and communicate licensing approaches to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• BS in Nuclear Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience, MS with 4 years, or PhD with 3 years of experience
• Experience with U.S. NRC or other governmental agencies in a licensing capacity
• Working experience at operating reactors or fuel production facilities
• General understanding of reactor physics, thermal hydraulics, and nuclear fuel design
• Familiarity with ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) requirements
