Senior Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Scientist (USA Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and product owners to identify questions and curate optimal datasets
• Develop, tune, and optimize Machine Learning models for production usage
• Stay current in the field by researching new architectures and sharing findings with the team

Required Qualifications

• Experience with text data to build Deep Learning and ML models, with a bonus for other modalities
• Strong understanding of the math and theory behind machine learning and deep learning
• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, particularly with Python, SQL, and Unix-based systems
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, Machine Learning, applied math, or related field
• Familiarity with Language Models and their training or fine-tuning
