Senior Mainframe Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Engineer, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive development, testing, deployments, and iterative improvements of product capabilities
• Develop high-quality applications ensuring security, operability, and observability
• Mentor engineers and establish product engineering and software standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in MIS, Computer Science, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in software development with knowledge of application design patterns
• Experience with large-scale application troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and test-driven development
• Experience with COBOL, JCL, TSO/ISPF, DB2, MQ, and CICS
