Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior 3Cs Engineer to implement and fine-tune systems for camera, player movement, and control in a new video game project.
Key Responsibilities
- Focus on the 3Cs of Character, Camera, and Controls, collaborating with designers, animators, and engineers on system prototyping and implementation
- Develop and implement systems in-engine for a multiplayer environment using C++ and Blueprints
- Communicate and collaborate across departments to manage the prioritization, implementation, and scope of the game's 3Cs systems
Required Qualifications
- Experience in creating innovative 3Cs systems in professional third-person, multiplayer games, particularly AAA projects
- Thorough understanding of core 3C concepts, including camera behaviors, character movement systems, and controls accessibility
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, art, narrative, and production teams
- Curiosity, kindness, and a positive, professional attitude
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5 is a plus
