Senior Non-QM Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Sr. Non-QM Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Completes thorough analysis of loan files for compliance with company and investor guidelines
• Evaluates credit packages and collateral to ensure investment quality loan products
• Maintains underwriting activity logs and provides monthly reports to the underwriting manager

Required Qualifications

• Minimum five years of recent NON-QM mortgage underwriting experience
• Solid working knowledge of underwriting guidelines including FNMA, FHLMC, and NON-QM Investors
• Ability to review and calculate complex personal and/or business financials and tax profiles
• Encompass loan origination system experience required (5+ years)
• High school diploma
