Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Operating System Specialist to support the USPS' Network and Compute Technology group.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day incident and deployment support for multiple server operating systems and middle tier applications
- Manage incident response via the USPS ServiceNow application and perform technical leadership in various environments
- Develop and implement procedures for proactive problem detection, disaster recovery, and maintain project plans
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of systems support experience or equivalent experience
- Specialized knowledge in Unix/Linux server administration or Windows server administration
- Experience with middle tier technologies, including web and application servers and cloud services
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident to obtain and maintain USPS Public Trust clearance
