Senior Operating Systems Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Operating System Specialist to provide technical support for server operating systems and middle tier applications in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day incident and deployment support for Unix, Linux, and Windows server operating systems
• Manage incident response and technical leadership for a complex server and database environment
• Develop and implement procedures for proactive problem detection and disaster recovery planning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of systems support experience or equivalent experience
• Specialty in Unix/Linux or Windows server administration
• Experience with middle tier technologies, including web and application servers
• Ability to perform complex problem resolution in a multi-datacenter environment
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident to obtain USPS Public Trust clearance
