Senior Performance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Performance Engineer to establish and lead their performance engineering practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and execute performance strategy for scaling the Truelark platform, including defining KPIs and conducting comprehensive performance tests
• Design and build a self-service performance testing platform integrated into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate easy performance testing for developers
• Champion and codify performance best practices, conducting deep-dive analysis of performance bottlenecks and defining service level objectives (SLOs)

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in roles focused on performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale distributed systems
• Strong programming proficiency in Go and/or Python, with hands-on experience in building and maintaining complex applications
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, including deploying and managing containerized applications
• Proven ability to design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, including performance testing
• Expert understanding of performance testing methodologies and experience in designing test strategies for microservice architectures
